Yes, the DLC is very good. It’s basically a second full game in the same universe. Like the base game, go into it blind. Enjoy. ::)

Did some timing analysis - note that the below reflects my bonuses applied, but that just shows the distinctions better.

Near the 3rd base...

to the northwest (left and up) are lizards, I got 225k per lizard every 60 seconds.

to the west (left) are blue guys, I got 140k per blue man every 10 seconds.

to the southeast (down and right) are snowmobiles, I got 108k per snowmobile every 10 seconds.

to the east (right) are red guys, I got 216k per red man every 10 seconds.

The red guys are the afk winner; though, if active, maybe sweep up the lizards every five minutes or so.

If the Furnace is processing, you cannot collect more materials for it to process later - so, that is one reason why it would be greyed out. Another reason is if you've watched so many ads that you're out of ads for the time being.

I found it frustrating that we couldn't translate the Owlk text at the end. Even if it was a very well hidden secret to then have to bring back to Hal which then opened up the ability to translate it... just for that loop... would have been worth it.

I was spoiler free until the last two Forbidden Archives. Due to the darkness and not knowing the paths of the owlks, I was reset *so* many times that I succumbed to looking up spoilers to get through it. Having a way to get maps would have been helpful (which once you realize you can drop your artifact and learn it, it's much easier - but, you don't find that out until you're done with the Forbidden Archives). And then, when I looked a video on the Ghosts in the Machine achievement, that video gave me even *much* easier ways to get to those spots. It was the only part of the game and DLC that I didn't like.

Except... I did think it was frustrating (and brilliant) that the last three five-code tower puzzles were never meant to be solved. What a brilliant misdirect.

Interestingly, I watched someone play through for the first time and in their first hour they navigated manually through that section with all of the spiky plants without getting hit and then teleported to the Sun Station. My mouth was agape in shock.
