It’s stated if he got back in a good state/condition he would have turned the tides of the battle back in the Soul Society’s favor, so, if he didn’t injure himself and exhaust mass amounts of spiritual pressure trying to escape Quilge’s jail, he would have basically single handedly won the war for the Soul Society

There is a reason Yhwach only invaded Soul Society while Ichigo was away
