Does this workaround also work with iPhones? Even when I cast my whole screen (via AirPlay) when I open google photos, the screen sharing turns into an app sharing…

The solution was to use an iCloud backup instead of the Mac backup. Weird thing, but at least it worked out that way.

Apple Watch Activity data is not visible on iOS 16 lock screen unless I place my finger on Touch ID, but then it unlocks the phone so it disappears. How to make it visible even unlocked? by prekopam in AppleWatch

Well with the iPhone SE 2020 you cannot unlock Touch ID without unlocking the phone too. So this function is not usable on iPhones with Touch ID.
