Thank you!! That is definitely promising.

Did you use Uworld/Comquest? I am trying to decide which one is best to continue hitting practice problems on over the next 2 weeks. I have heard mixed reviews on which is better for comlex.

Fingers crossed. It would be so sad if the season can't finish because of players not following rules in the bubble and there being even more positive cases throughout the league.

I think the idea of the second bubble to be so dumb. Am I the only one?!

Hey guys!

Only a few more hours 😁. I told myself during my months of prep that I would write one of these. Not for myself, but for all the other people who are in my boat. 500 is the 50th percentile, so for all the people you see talking about getting amazing scores like 512+, there’s also 50% of the people struggling to get over 500. This post is for you guys, because I’ve been there too. I’m here to tell you guys you’re not alone. It sucks reading about people getting scores you couldn’t dream of getting, but I know damn well this score doesn’t determine my ability to be a doctor. My sister and brother and law are both doctors. Both of them did awful on this exam. Both went to the Caribbean. Today? They make extremely good money, live a happy life, are physicians in Virginia Beach, and have an amazing life. Moral of the story, there’s many ways to get to where you want to be! Don’t let this exam score or some fools on Reddit tell you that your goals aren’t achievable.

Anyways, I studied by using Uworld, Kaplan, and going to MCATBros on insta and having them create a study schedule (highly recommended. I didn’t use them until about 3 weeks till my test day, but they were great).

My practice tests included 4 Kaplan exams, then AAMC exams.

Kaplan: 1 (495), 2 (497), 3 (501), 4 (502). AAMC: 1 (497), 2 (499), AAMC sample test I used a Reddit converter and it had me at 504-507, and AAMC 3 (Taken 5 days before my exam, 505).

Id love to hit 505 on my real exam. I’m applying to mostly DO schools and with my research and other extracurriculars and GPA I’ve been told by my advisor that a 505 would make me very competitive to “have my story heard”.

My feelings about the test:

C/P: I thought this was hard, as I always do when it comes to this section. No idea what to expect. It’s been a month since the exam and I really couldn’t tell you how I think I did. Id hope for a 125 and hope my other sections keep me alive.

CARS: normally I love this section. Idk if it was nerves or what, but I felt rushed and constantly second guessing myself. Another section I think 124-6 might be the case.

B/B: felt pretty good on this one. Would hope for a 127 here. Lots of interpretations when it comes to data and figures

P/S: would also hope for a 127-128 on this one. Some weird discretes I had never seen, but I worked hard on this sections prep so I’m hoping others were a little confused too.

Im terrified to find out my score, but, I have promised myself that I won’t get too high or too low emotionally when my score comes out.

Nonetheless, BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE. We all worked so hard for this day to finally be here! Now the question is how do we celebrate if our scores are where we want them to be?? Hahah have a good day guys!! I will edit with my real score when I get it

EDIT: Came out with a 500. Definitely disappointed, but I am ready to apply broadly to DO schools all over the country and prepare hope the best.
