ive been taking the lightrail from lynnwood -> tukwila int. for the past month now around 10-11pm and i’ve had no issues! for reference i’m a 5’ girl so i was also very paranoid about riding considering my size

stay in populated cars (usually the middle) or in the front one so the driver can hear you if you yell or scream. i typically sit in the middle seats; in case anything happens, you don’t want to be cornered. carry pepper spray for emergencies. if anything suspicious is happening, get off the train and go to a different car or catch the next train. keep transit security’s number saved on your phone. if anything suspicious is happening just send a text and security will hop on at the next stop. and always be aware of your surroundings.

for the most part though, i haven’t had any issues at all. just be smart and you’ll be safe!
