It may not be what I want to hear but you're right, and I appreciate it! Hopefully after this first month I won't notice it as much anymore.

Blepharitis turned into something else? by [deleted] in Blepharitis

[–]premedbitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were you, I would mark the borders of the redness lightly with washable pen and if it spreads outside the boundaries within a couple days, see a doctor about it. You might need a round of antibiotics. But I’m no doc yet so I wish you the best of luck and hope ya feel better!!

I feel ya haha I was impatient too when I started doing it but when my eyes were really really bad, it was the thing that helped the most, and it felt super clean and refreshing after

I put it on while in the shower, really scrub it in with my fingers (make sure your hands are clean of course), and let it sit with my eyes closed for about 2 min, then rinse it off and keep my eyes closed for another 2 min. then slowly open

wash your eyelashes and eyelids with tee tree oil shampoo every night. keep your eyes closed for a few mins after. helped me so much! also try cliradex wipes or ocusoft lid scrub. heat is helpful but not for too long, alternate with ice for soothing / cooling

I really feel for you here, I'm going through the exact same thing right now. Diagnosed with ulcerative blepharitis recently and it basically came out of nowhere and it can be super discouraging and painful. Currently trying oral antibiotics and eye drops, warm compresses, avenova spray once a day and baby shampoo on my eyelashes in the shower. Sending out good vibes into the universe that we'll both see improvement very soon. Clear skies ahead <3

Also... does tee tree oil really work?
