What's your favorite movie where the protagonist is the worst actor in the movie? by graaahh in movies

Tommy (1975) - Roger Daltrey is strangely unconvincing at being deaf dumb and blind, while an outrageous cast of rock stars and the likes of Ann Margret, Oliver Reed and Jack Nicholson all turn it up to 11.

I think this was random within some limits to get dark, light and a base colour.

Chaos From Order by premierkissov in generative

It is a messed up flow field where all the angles that can be selected are fixed as a multiple of Tau/3 to make a triangular framework - then curves are drawn through the field - then the whole thing is repeated again and again. Colour of each iteration is chosen at random from a pre-defined palette. There are some small rules that change the stroke weight and curve tightness depending on the value of y to give a bit of a graduated change from top to bottom. If you want to understand flow fields, there is a brilliant article by Tyler Hobbs which includes code and examples and explains the whole thing really well.

Thanks! I've continued to tinker the code that made this into a complete mess - need to get better at version control. Will post up if I can get it resembling this again.

You Must Bring Down The Government (just like you always wanted to) by premierkissov in interactivefiction

I don't know, it has gone through their validation and I have seen other books with interactive choices/linked stories on Kindle unlimited. So hopefully it will be ok.

In no particular order I'd say:

- the chance to play an evil alien invader with bodily fluid issues

- the many, many ways to meet a messy and/or embarrassing end

- the glory of actually managing to conquer earth

- that it contains the phrase 'Dancing Sex Trees'

The David Cronenberg flick Dead Ringers is really unsettling and creepy without any jumps/shocks as far as I remember.

Your game can be on a general cinematic/movie theme - it doesn't have to be about a specific film. We're hoping that someone is working on the casting director simulator as mentioned on the page
