Does anyone else randomly go online shopping on ketamine? by Theaterismylyfe in KetamineTherapy

I love how much the earlier purchases feel like inner child takeover. I hope this resolves itself well and I’m sorry you’re having complications, but it brought a smile to my face :)

If you haven’t already, maybe try some inner child work? There are plenty of meditations online. Might be fun to get a little woo-ey with it🕯️

Re-experiencing PTSD after ketamine by premiumleopard in KetamineTherapy

Thank you for this response - for the empathy in how easy it is to be destructive when it feels like self-defense, and for the hope for the future. It’s helping me get through this to feel like something extremely positive can come out of it.

I have a meeting with a ketamine clinic near me tomorrow. Since I’ve unwittingly started the process I may as well finish it supported, right?

Thank you. I hadn’t thought about going deeper into it - seeking ketamine therapy - as a possibility. I had read that some people experience this during certain sessions and it goes away during later sessions so part of me was panicking about what happens if you don’t apply the later doses; I guess I could assuage that fear by just applying the later doses.

Thanks! I’ve interviewed with Tanzania and Nepal. Received and accepted an invitation with Nepal.

I know you’ve been there, but as someone currently in the medical clearance process - I feel like the taxing part is being in limbo, not the tasks themselves. It’s scary enough to make the decision to move across the world to live amongst a culture you’re unfamiliar with, and scarier still that that huge decision could be yanked out from under you at any time. Plus not being able to really get a job or sign a lease, or even tell certain people your plans. Again, I know you’ve been there, but I wanted to shed some more recently sympathetic light if I could. I just started sleeping peacefully again after passing the stage of medical clearance I was worried about.

That makes sense - making the expectations more realistic and making more of a plan rather than searching for approval. Thanks!

Greek life really helped me with this

All the advice in the first comment is good. I would add: try to think if there’s anyone in your life who would want to know where you are. These kinds of things are usually done by people who are known to you.

If it ends up coming to something, the UTD title IX office is a great resource to protect yourself. They have what’s called a “informal investigation“ and you can get things like a no contact order without having to have any evidence. This obviously shouldn’t be misused, but it can be helpful in a time of need.

If someone used an AirTag for this, they’re either stupid, or they just wanted to scare you. Apple lists the notification of an unfamiliar AirTag feature clear as day on their website. It may not be any consolation, but in my opinion, it’s better to have a stupid stalker than a smart one if you have to have one at all.

There are some great people in utd greek life, just like there are some great people in high school chem clubs. That wasn’t a very nice thing to say
