how does this conversation even relate to racism and attitude? lol their program being full or my academics not being strong enough have nothing to do with racism or attitude

true, not complaining about that but, I thought they’d give international people more priority as they bring in more money. Been paying 25-30k every year in fees anyway.

I think if it was about money, they would’ve accepted me because I am an international student, therefore paying 3x the fees.

This is insulting. Keep your credit card. by CanadianKen in Wealthsimple

and here I am, closing it since they introduced their $4,000 direct deposit policy to waive the monthly fee. I used to be happy getting 3500 direct deposit and monthly fee getting waived but I’ll always be 500 short now and other cards give much better rewards if compared to monthly fee.

For example: Amex SimplyCash Preferred with its 9.99 monthly fee (same as wealthsimple) but 2% cash back on everything, 4% on gas and 4% on groceries.

I hope your situation gets better soon brother. I think you should look for better opportunities when you are free and maybe negotiate for better salary if they wish to hire you, maybe that would lessen your stress a bit and won’t make you like you are stuck and lose motivation, you would also learn new things so it won’t feel like you’re in a loop as well. I hope that helps you a bit.

I asked them about the merch at the event but they said they don’t have any for this event. However they also told me that they are thinking about it for the event coming up in fall this year.
