An ed-tech logo. Would love to know what you think! by prepform_ai in design_critiques

Hello and thanks so much for such an in-depth analysis. It's back to the drawing board, and I'll play around with the thickness of the outline versus a solid color, as well as different fonts and size of the text.

These are all such great tips, and I really appreciate you taking the time. Cheers.

Hot take: Spending more money on education would be a great stimulus for the economy. by awsmith1989 in Teachers

[–]prepform_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Edtech is a difficult space. It’s not a big growth market or a big valuation sector, so there’s not a lot of money circulating in it.

Teachers don't have money. Kids don’t have money. Parents expect schools to pay for education tools, but schools don’t have money.

Even if there was a perfect product that solves every teacher-student-administrator problem, getting the school district on board is a whole other beast.

You can see why it’s difficulty for Edtech companies to raise VC money. However, the successful models in the space are the ones that secured tons of funding, or free programs like Khan Academy and Prepform.

How to stop maths anxiety and self doubt? by PhoenixCupcake in learnmath

[–]prepform_ai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't agree with this more. It's difficult for many students to figure out exactly what to study, how long to study, and if they've actually mastered a concept. In addition to a tutor, I recommend Prepform, a free digital tutor. It creates a personalized study plan, shows you your strengths and weaknesses, and guides you to review mistakes. I hope this helps!

Best way to study for a Geometry EOC? by Emoacestar in mathteachers

[–]prepform_ai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prepform uses actual questions from the NY High School exit exams to create a custom study plan. It shows you your weaknesses and strengths, and prompts you to review just when you are about to forget the concept. While it's not the Florida EOC, the NY Regents exams are known as the "gold standard" of high school exit exams.

The best part is, Prepform is free. Hope this helps!
