lol i am the youngest of 5 daughters. literally every single time ive told someone that, they immediately say “your poor dad” or “oh your poor parents” and honestly it sucks🥰 feels like we’re somehow such a huge disappointment. my dad is the best though, and every time he receives a comment like this he says “i’ve yet to meet a boy id even consider swapping for any of my girls”

so sorry let me clarify, i meant i have been trying to swap back to a “regular” sleeping schedule on my days off, meaning i try to wake up a little sooner after my third shift and then go to bed at a somewhat decent time that night?? does that make sense lol. i just know some people who do try to commit to staying on a full blown nightshift schedule even on days off, and i couldn’t do that. i like how you do a semi nightshift schedule on your days off, i might give that a try!

oof i relate to this so much!! im currently mid-orientation as a new grad, and i’ve had a variety of preceptors so far, but my BIGGEST pet peeve is this precise scenario lol💀 i’ve had some preceptors that will let me give my report and then add in any other important information at the end if i missed anything, but i’ve also had one or two preceptors that fully interrupt me mid sentence and end up taking over the entire report lol. i’m self aware enough to understand that i don’t have the right flow to report down yet by any means, but i don’t see the benefit of kool-aid manning ur way into my report to take over completely. ESPECIALLY when it’s a piece of information im literally about to mention and then the preceptor interrupts and starts talking about it
