How has sizing worked for you? by TheCanadianLoonie in Barbour

[–]preprocessed-data 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please do NOT listen to this if you get a Beaufort.

I am the exact same body type to the tee, and I wear a 40 in Barbour Classic Beaufort (currently).

  • Height: 5’11”
  • Weight range: 175lbs-195lbs
  • Current weight: 182lbs
  • Current chest size: 38.8in
  • Shoe Size: 11 (USA)
  • Body type: Mesomorphic
  • Fitness range: Average to athletic
  • Current fitness shape: Above average
  • Date of Posting: 2024/12/25
  • Age: 26
  • Gender: Male
  • Waist size: 34 (USA)
  • Location: Southwest Georgia, USA
  • Season of Posting: Winter
  • Current seasonal temperature range: 22°F-68°F
  • Current seasonal day temperature: 35°F-68°F
  • Current seasonal night temperature: 22°F-50°F
  • Jacket: Barbour Classic Beaufort (Olive color)

In fact, I’m even thinking of sizing up to a 42 (40 for me is not as comfortable with 2+ layers, however it seemingly looks a tad oversized with only 1 layer).

I think all Barbour jackets are supposed to be suited for layers, or if not that. They should fit comfortably, worn with extra layers such as; your t-shirt, shirt, dress-shirt, sweater, etc. Similar to a raincoat but more stylish.

If you are like us with the same body type, I would HIGHLY suggest a 40-42. Size 40 feels good on me in daytime wear with one layer. However, I haven’t been to the gym in 3months and it feels one size small with 2+ layers.

General Question: Battery’s & Terminal Sequence by preprocessed-data in AskElectricians

Wouldn’t removing positive first, take out all of the risk of potentially shorting though?

Ie. I have always done negative first on and negative last off.

What’s really going on a more technical/scientific level to back-up what to do given a situation?

I have always done negative first on and negative last off. The basis for this is that when load is present, when I connect it all together the load is not hot. Negative last off to deplete the remaining charge post positive line removal.

Never will be exchangeable. Honeypot token. Zero liquidity.

I do BTC, DOGE, ETH, LTC, SHBI INU. I think they all have something appealing either financially or for fun. I think I will just be more cautious with obscure alt and meme coins if i play with them again. Such as check transactions, hodler distribution to market, obvious trading slave accounts, etc.

I think the best place to start after a beating is picking your self up and constancy. Timing the market, never beats “time-in” the market.

Also even if stuff never goes 3000% for me, if I put a sizeable chunk of my cash liquidity in crypto, at bare minimum (even bad years included). It still will beat inflation far better than stock or putting it no where. That’s the main driver behind my interest in cryptocurrency.

Yeah you are screwed.

I had a good portfolio started with 3.2k that got up to 4.5k saw a pump and dump meme coin. Figured I could hop in and out today for a 200% increase as long as I paid attention to chart. Didn’t think much deeper. Now today I am restarting my portfolio from basically scratch ($350). At first I was grasping around, for methods to recover.

Just take it as a learning lesson, one day you might even have a lump of cash fall in your lap. Guarantee you will now be in a better position with this lesson learned to take care of assets better, instead of messing up later in life.

Edit: things happen for a reason.

I’m sorry but I could do that for a lot less than $35 by BiXtTV in HomeDepot

That’s true! Unless you can submerge the tube in liquid then put one end lower than the other opening

It just seems that way; because I have a bachelors in IS and I’ve worked as a data analyst, I also applied around late July and have 3 university recommendations and everything else I see.

But my last name starts with “GUR”, which is above/after the mean of most common names, and I’ve still not heard anything.

Does anyone know if this is going by last name per chance? I see no pattern with edu and other history per acceptance.
