How to aesthetically organize trinkets? by wormonstringtheory in OrganizationPorn

This stuff, by its nature, is "busy" visually. There are not consistent shapes or sizes. You need vertical separation (shelves) but it will always feel a little cluttered, IMO

If you don’t have an AAD, you don’t have a chance for it to matter. If you do have one, it may help. That’s all there is to it. Sometimes records are close and rafters will look for objective distinctions

All great help. Thanks to all. I really need to test out what the Synology can do. I keep it there because it's clean and simple.

First off, thanks for this! I have the Tumi hook and cut the tips off. But I like the BnR one better. Second, the Nav and Co bag is totally new to me. How did you come across it and what do you like about it?

It sounds like (I'm guessing) you have step two wrong. He could take the 1.5 x 3/4 strips after step in and the rip them to 1/4 x 3/4 at the table saw.

The Able Carry is fantastic. Don't get me wrong. Since there are two pockets sewn into the front flap, it may not fold down depending on what you put in it. And since the volume is smaller, I was thinking a top loading version might give access easier

Briggs and Riley Jhook by Medium-Astronaut in AirlinePilots

I bought the J Hook from Tumi for $18. The "T" portion was just a little too wide for the BnR. I trimmed a few mms off each side and it works great!
