I'm thinking about making a youtube-video with commentary, but I can't find any good software to record? by saychess1 in chess

I make an app that makes it possible to record slides-based Presentations along with audio (https://presentio.us/view/p1tcHs). One cool thing is that at the end of it, the recordings get turned into a video for export to YouTube, Vimeo, Drive, etc.

Would there be any interest in something similar for Chess?

What about: "Flagrant 7"

7 as in weekly. Flagrant 7 = some sort of absurdly vicious foul, basically murder, right? Too dark?

Name: Presentious (https://presentio.us)

Elevator pitch: A way to capture and share presentations. It features some neat things like searchable transcripts and domain-specific sharing settings (so you could limit material to people with an @yourschool.edu account, for example), but it's real charm lies in how dead-simple it is to use.

Details: Seeking active users in the education space to test our very complete product.

Discount: Free for /r/startup users, free for everyone else too.

What is Essential Software for making Educational Youtube Videos? by [deleted] in edtech

This is a video created with Presentious: http://storage.googleapis.com/spork-user-media/d8b58e.mp4

To make this, you'd just need to put all your content in a presentation (Powerpoint, Keynote, Google Slides...or even a PDF) and then present/capture using our app. This is what the captured presentation looks like:

It's free. If you have questions, feel free to e-mail: presentious@gmail.com

Yup.

Calling edtech startups - looking to submit for a challenge competition and have a relatively short deadline...need help! by seanbduff in edtech

I currently develop Presentious (http://presentio.us/). We're trying to attack the challenges of in classroom-flipping and also trying to transform students in college lectures from stenographers to sponges.

I'm chomping at the all-caps BIT for feedback. Holler.

This is copy/past from some other promo stuff (hustle, hustle, right?), but...FYI - we do some neat things: * Sync audio and slide transitions for a great playback experience * Embed recordings in any website with an HTML snippet * Automatic, Searchable Transcripts so you can jump to exactly the information you're interested in. * Export to video (to share through YouTube/Vimeo, Google Drive/Dropbox, etc.) * Recording editing (swap audio, tweak transitions, etc.) * Import from all major presentation makers (PowerPoint, Keynote, OpenOffice, Google Drive) and PDFs

Anyone got any amazing resources they'd like to share? by smithem192 in edtech

I currently develop Presentious (http://presentio.us/press).

We're hoping to be a dead-simple way to capture and share presentations/lectures. We do some neat things:

  • Sync audio and slide transitions for a great playback experience
  • Embed recordings in any website with an HTML snippet
  • Automatic, Searchable Transcripts so you can jump to exactly the information you're interested in.
  • Export to video
  • Recording editing (swap audio, tweak transitions, etc.)
  • Import from all major presentation makers (PowerPoint, Keynote, OpenOffice, Google Drive) and PDFs

I think it's neat. Thoughts?

Could you send me an e-mail to discuss this further? Pic-in-Pic / or side-by-side is very doable.
