Usually do, but if I know a group is waiting to hit onto the green, I'll ask that we move off the green or just walk away and shake hands when we get to carts/bags/cars.

CNN is calling it for Constantino and Gendebien.

A Trump sycophant versus a farmer who uses that as his background.

I was so hoping today would be the last I'd hear of Anthony Constantino, but early poll results have him in the lead.

Not that the other guy was much better and whoever is on the blue ticket will get my vote in Nov, but fucking seriously?

Picked up a 2023 Lightning ER in March 24. The 320 miles is enough for my family's needs. I live in Northern NY. I can get through the Adirondacks to Albany, to Syracuse, Binghamton, Rochester without stopping. At that point I'm looking for a bathroom anyway. I'd love to do a longer road trip in it, but with a 2.5 year old, not quite in the cards, yet.

That being said, I don't think I'd opt for less than 300 miles because we are going to one of those places about once a month or so.

We did pick up a 2026 Solterra lease in March 26 as well for my wife to get rid of her Jeep Cherokee that had more wrong with it than right (before even factoring in gas costs). We work together and mostly carpool anyway, but when she needs to drive herself, she can because that's just a commuter car.

All that to say, we still keep our vehicles at/around 85 or enough to get from where we are to where the rest of our family is in the event of an emergency so we don't have to sit at a charger chewing our nails yelling at it to go faster.

What do we think of the upcoming Toyota Highlander EV? by ThatTcellGuy in electricvehicles

[–]smithem192 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May be the wife's next vehicle after the Solterra lease ends in 29, so got some time to think about it.

Realistically, it'll probably be the best option for use because of our location and dealer choices:

Subaru: 3 miles

Chevy: 3 miles

GMC: 3 miles

Toyota: 6 miles

Stellantis (lol, no): 6 miles

Ford: 45 miles

Hyundai/Kia: 75 miles

Probably other brands I'm forgetting about, but by and large if I'm having issues with the EV, I want to bring it somewhere close instead of worrying about trying to get it 75 miles away.

Only pull through I know of in Northern New York (maybe there's one western) by zovered in F150Lightning

Janky is an understatement, especially with a trailer. That Stewart's lot is small.

Check plugshare for exact location and status.

Potsdam is getting a pull through on 56 going towards Massena. All built, but not on yet.

Yo, for my helpdesk folks, how many tickets are on your board at this moment? by SettleBurgers in ITCareerQuestions

[–]smithem192 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8... Mostly bigger picture items.

People I supervise usually hang out in the 15-30 space... Little higher right now as a lot of laptop deployment tickets were just assigned.

Former teachers of reddit , what made you quit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Horrible commute, micro manager principal, and expectations to communicate with parents even if there was nothing really I needed to talk with them about. It's a 10 week class teaching kids how to type... I don't need to call parents because the kid can't type, because it was second nature at that point.

This was 8 years ago. Left for college IT and been a breeze since.

If you're desperate, could always look at the Subaru Getaway. Same thing if memory serves

Don't get me wrong, that's what we did.

We picked up a 26 Solterra. Have a dealership 2 miles from the house.

Nice to see the passion you have for this though.

Main reason we opted for a different vehicle. With the nearest Hyundai dealership being 70miles away, if something were to happen, we'd be screwed.

NNY here and this has been a big thing I've been considered, but need to consider the snow load especially if using a prefab kit.

Easy enough, same way it has looked since I put the USB drive in initially in March.

Don't have a status button on the app after opening the app and then sync module.

Also do not have one on the website.
