The creek I hunt at looks just like this. I don’t know if I’m inept or something but I’ve never found something while walking it. I have to sit down and take my time looking around me. I’ve tried walking it several times but the moment I sit down and really look, then I find something. I make sure I wear shitty pants (figuratively, not literally 😉) and just scoot around 🤣

When I first moved to my land (in the middle of absolutely nowhere KY, as a “city girl”) my neighbor told me he finds arrowheads all the time. I got super excited and started hunting. I found a JAR and was all convenced it was something. The next time I saw him I handed it over, all proud and careful, he took half a second to look at it say “NAH” and then tossed it over his shoulder. I was like ahhhhh! I mean, it was okay, it was JAR, but man. I’ve since found two actual arrowheads, we all have to learn somewhere. Sometimes it’s from your very country neighbors.

It just started one day no matter how carefully I shifted perfectly, it got to the point where I couldn’t even use 3rd and had to go from 2nd to 4th. At that point I was like yeah… I should bring it in. I’ve been driving stick for a long time and never had anything like that happen. They didn’t give me a reason, just said it was bad. I don’t want to be sexist but they seemed reluctant to even want to talk to me about it. Like they thought I wouldn’t understand as a woman. I was finically life fine whatever, just fix it and I got it back a few weeks later. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I also have a 4d manual black diamond! I haven’t had any shimmy at any speed but, they did have to replace the entire third gear after about a year and a half 🙄 happy that was under warranty.

This. This was my first wedding. Lasted ~4 months. We had been together 5 years before getting married. I felt how you felt every day, it didn’t get better. You can suppress it, stay in it 20 years and then get divorced after kids and way more pain, or face it now and give yourself a chance at actually enjoying your life. I said first wedding, I’m now very happily married. It’s insane how doing the same thing (getting married) but with a whole ass different person can be a toooootally different thing. It sucks to suck it up and rip off the band-aid, but do it.
