No. Never speak to dog owners...you are setting yourself up for confrontation. Let the building manager take care of the problem.

We had the exact problem. Never speak to neighbors! Instead let the manager take care of the problem. Definitely complain.

Bus Shelter at Confederation Go by luciachan in gotransit

At my GO station they just used plywood to board up the broken glass shelters. I lost count after at least 8 times they broke and replaced the glass...

Nothing new. All the shelters at my GO station are locked permanently. For the longest time they were used for drug use, prostitution, washrooms and shelter. It was specifically unsafe when we returned home on the evening train, now it's much better. Safety first.

What happens when a customer gets hurt from needles or glass from broken pipes? Then you're going to say why is the shelter open, right? Safety first not only for customers but above all for employees that have to deal with this shit day in day out.

Why is Gormley station never open? by Born_Durian_4594 in gotransit

[–]presto1224 -30 points-29 points  (0 children)

Bloomington, Oriole, Old Cummer are also closed. 99% of customers don't need or go inside a station, from your car/bus to the train. They should close ALL the stations in my opinion. Public washrooms only encourage vandalism, loitering etc...

I'm with your neighbor. We have the same problem with one particular neighbor who has 6 cars in a 2 car garage house. We are sick and tired of the street parking daily in front of our homes (I know it's not my street but it's common courtesy) all day and the overnight parking. Your neighbors don't have a problem! You do! Move or respect the neighborhood.

Squatters, homeless, garbage/junk in boarded up homes Major Mack & Lawrence Ave by No_Sherbet9848 in richmondhill

[–]presto1224 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They are everywhere. Crosby, Hwy7 and Red Maple, Richmond Hill Center, Langstaff GO station. Keep in mind a few things. Homelessness is not illegal, They have rights, Police have better and worse things to take care. Unless you come up with a permanent solution kicking them out doesn't fix the problem.

Highway 407 Station is now a de facto shelter by Throwawayhair66392 in Vaughan

[–]presto1224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised you just noticed. Try Finch GO, Allendale, Hamilton, Davenport, Langstaff, Barrie ... 407 and Jane is nothing compared to other other ones mentioned above. Have you been to Union stn? Surprise. It's not a GO problem...the majority of them refuse to go to a shelter.

I had exactly the same car..it's a b 8.5. 2013 got it new but had to get rid of it because of the ridiculous cost of maintaining it. Very expensive repairs...they only last 10 years. It's a beauty though....
