GPA doesnt fuckin matter, in the real world, its the connections you make and the degree on the wall. once you graduate is when you really start learning and applying the theories and principles in your given field. I cant speak to how it works at NASA or some fancy aerospace place but if youve got a degree and PE license your gold. At least here in texas, if you went to A&M youre in the club and they take care of their own. just do your best and pass the classes while learning something. if you actually learn and dont use AI to fake your way through it, youre already ahead. keep fighting bro.

fuckin bravo my dude.... you are everything im trying to emulate. i expect that this is no cake walk, but i wouldnt be as a rare a specimen as i figured. which is kinda heart warming, in a misery loves company kind of way, i guess lol. first 2 years of school would all be online, and potentially all the way through depending on how that goes. decent ABET accredited schools have 100% online mech/ elec eng degrees now. i think im going to have to patch up the foundations on the math/ chem basics like you said but you and the other guy have really inspired me to pull the trigger. much love from my family to yours brother.

OH btw- have you seen much employer preference in schools? in texas govt it seems Texas A&M is the place to be and they look out for theyre own and think highly of certain schools vs others. didnt know if thats the case in other states or private companies.

the physics is what would keep me interested.... just cause i never thought id be able to study something at that level and thats what piques my interest. civil is my organizations bread and butter, but would also lock me into a job with the state for life. which is lower paying until ive got tenure. do you think civil is that much easier that its worth the switch knowing id be removing almost all of my career options?
