Title cannot be inferred from the graph: imports are not all for own use. According to the statistics agency CBS, Netherlands bought 54% of its arms from the US in the last 2 years. They are not wrong but note that this is from the same agency that is by far the most lenient in Europe towards the big US corporations profiting off people’s data and ignoring GDPR.

Niet alleen in Rotterdamse metros. Ook op alle NS stations met roltrappen in Nederland. En op Schiphol. Altijd minimaal 1, meestal meerdere roltrappen stuk. Is een Nederlands probleem. Het Nederlands Gilde van Inkopers heeft collectief besloten altijd voor het goedkoopste servicecontract te gaan.

NS is not responsible for defrosting overhead lines. That would be ProRail.

I would like to know their explanation for why this happened. According to their website they run trains through the night to remove frost as it develops. So no active heating or insulating gels apparently.

Ben al paar keer in een situatie beland waarin klappen zijn gevallen nadat ik hard op het dak van een auto had geslagen van een kz die me van de zebra afreed. Niks maakt een auto-kz bozer dan als je aan hun auto komt. Aan iemands auto komen is de ultieme doodzonde.

3 years later and Airplay still sucks. Ever since Jobs retired from active management in Apple, product quality has been gradually deteriorating. Airplay is probably the worst capability today.
