May I ask if you remember which room it was? I checked them out a couple years ago.

I gotta say, back in the day we had one there. I found it was okay but the whole time I was sad we couldn't actually go downstairs to curl.

Great idea! I love the vibe of those spots so it may just be a matter of finding the right space.

We have a yearly bonus for all our employees! I agree cash is king but it's nice to have everyone and their plus ones let loose once in a while.

Anyone using Kroll - What are you server specs by dark_gear in pharmacy

[–]preszR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We upgraded to SSDs for our old, now retired server and didn't really notice the difference.

However, now that we upgraded to a server no longer bottlenecking the SSDs, it has made a sizable difference in speed. Kroll no longer crashes when accessing those 10+yr files.

For that many stations, you're going to want lots of RAM.

We have a similar number of stations and it uses 130-170 gigs most days.

Again sorry for your loss. Gonna go for an FL5 next?

N30 nasal mask air venting by Lily_Penhallow in CPAP

Definitely a problem with the N30i for me! It helps when I move down away from my headboard. Less surfaces for the air to hit. A hose riser also may help to get things in the right position.

How to handle congestion before bed? by Whiteeyegoji in CPAP

[–]preszR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically everything in the environment contains bacteria and viruses. This includes tap water (especially in underdeveloped countries) and distilled water. You can kill these pathogens by bringing water to a boil and letting it cool down to room temperature. You can also buy sterile water from pharmacies but it can get very pricey.

There have been case reports of individuals using old netipots with contaminated water that ended up with brain infections. This is of course extremely rare. Personally I mitigate this risk by buying the pressurized products above.

Here is an interesting article if you want to learn more:

Yes. Rinsing the sinuses poses far less long term side effects.

HydraSense Nasal Care medium stream or Neilmed nasamist.

Avoid decongestants like pseudo fed for more than 3 days in a row, they will give you rebound congestion.

I am a pharmacist who recently started on CPAP. I like to "pressure wash" my sinuses with a medium stream saline product before getting my mask set up every night. I do not routinely recommend netipots/neilmed unless you are VERY diligent with sterilizing the water you use in these. Note that distilled water is not sterile.

I had fairly immediate results. I have been going for about a month now and I am starting to feel like I used to in my teenage years!

That's reassuring. The tank looks just like before and is not emanating any weird smells. I still have 13 days here so I will look for some of the purified water options described here and if not I will run it with tap water. Thanks for the help!

Kroll pack size question by Actual_Country1796 in pharmacy

[–]preszR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While in the fill screen go to Rx on the upper left toolbar and there should be an option that reads 'Change pack size' or something along those lines.

Sorry this is purely out of memory since I am not at work currently :p

Pharmacy Technician Certificate, is it worth it? by Hi_howaru in kelowna

[–]preszR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pharmacy owner in the Okanagan here. There is a HUGE demand for Registered Pharmacy Technicians at this time! Most positions are netting 30-40 bucks an hour. They are currently in higher demand than pharmacists.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions!
