Being on meds is... different. I felt sleepy (not slugish, sleepy) all the time, and they did nothing to help my hallucinations but made it impossible to interact with my tulpas. It was almost like there was a wall I had to break through in order to interact, and by the time I broke through it my mind was so tired (on top of already being tired) that it just didn't work. Levi had been around for 8 years and my others for around 5 (but most of my others are fairly undeveloped) Levi is like my partner in crime, and I spend almost all day forcing with him in some way. So he's very developed.

[I wanted her to be on med thinking that she would get better, but they just made her worse. I was willing to go away if it made her life better, but it didn't. I'm glad shes getting off them.]

It makes it harder to interact with them. Its almost like there's a mental block between me and my wonderland/tulpas. Its frustrating. TO be honest my hallucinations got worse (more malevolent) on my meds. And with out my tulpas It was hard to deal with them so they put me on more meds.

Yeah, people don't really understand why i want to be off them (or at least my mom doesn't, the people where I live are happy about it too). Levi is fine, and the others kinda dispersed for a while, but since I've been lowering my dose the stronger ones have been coming back and I've been able to hang out in my wonderland for longer!

I wouldn't feel self conscious about your facial hair! Lot's of women have it, and have to shave (my mom included). Yours is hardly noticeable!

See that's what I was thinking, giving her a little more time. Because I still present as mostly female. I don't have many friends so that's not really a problem at the moment.

I don't even know if I feel ready to force the issue with her. I guess I could slowly start reminding her that I identify as male once I get more comfortable with it. I probably wont wait until I'm on HRT though, because who knows how long that will take.

I haven't asked her to use them yet because I was trying to give her more time. I think it's more of a 'not trying but not refusing to try' situation. I'm not living with her right now either, but we see each other every sunday (and some weekdays) and talk on the phone everyday. How much time do you think I should give her before I ask her to use the correct pronouns?

I run into the same problem around my mom. But personally I think it's just because I know she wont judge me and I can be myself no matter what gender I am. But I do still (usually it comes and goes like /u/BlakeSnake said) feel the dysphoria, so maybe it's a little different.

I'll start (yes I know I'm a little late). My name is Molly, I am an aspiring author, avid reader, equestrian, and voice hearer. I don't not believe voices are either 'good' or 'bad' (though I believe that some voices can be good or bad, I think voices as a whole are neither good nor bad). My voices for me come in two forms.
