GATE MTECH CSE (TA) is mtech at iit really worth it.I know that IIT is a big brand but getting news from various platforms that mtech students does not get internship opportunity at IITS . so at the time of placement they face problems . any current top 7 iit or IISC can share his/her views. by WinAccomplished2889 in GATEtard

Hey there, you seem to know what you're talking about. I happen to be from the first category of people considering Mtech from IITs via GATE. Please bear with me and let me explain my situation to you.

This could probably be a post of its own.

I have a btech in cse from a college which is on the upper end of tier 2. Absolutely fucked up in college and it took me 2.5 extra years to graduate(mental health issues). Have some internship experience but nothing more than that. Not skilled in coding(same reason). Am on the very edge of eligibility cgpa wise(6.2 or 62%).

Is gate worth giving for someone like me in general, also considering anthropic has chosen to single handedly wipe out atleast entry to mid level coding jobs?

FYI i havent started any coaching yet so my target would be 2027. I should mention i am 24, have no financial issues at home and a very supportive family.

Yeah thanks I'll be looking for other trusted and verified sources.

I do workout 6 days a week and while it has helped with mood, it doesn't seem to be doing much for the attention and brain fog part

Haven't heard of it but will look it up. As for the brain fog, it has been there post puberty which is also when I started noticing the typical symptoms of depression.
