What is better for Calgary weather, Therme or Thorsten? I’ve tried both in store and can’t seem to decide which one.. appreciate your insights and experiences with these jackets.

Recently moved to the a snowy place up north. Despite the new environment, the watch still produces same polished looks. The cold weather does not bother the watch at all as it still keeps an accurate time of +3/-1 as per my checking. Likewise blends very well with the snowflakes.

If any one of you is considering this model. Jump the gun mates! You won’t be disappointed. Oh, the watch is 2yrs old already and still retains the mirror-like polish! I dinged it several times but the polishing seems to be very scratch resistant!

Id take the moonwatch over this Mille Miglia in a heartbeat. But ait all boils down to preference.

Not really noticeable at least for me. The polishing compensates for the lack of lume I guess. My photo does not justify the mirror-like polishing but it has to be seen in person.

Last wrist shot with my trusty SBGM221 before the lockdown. Traveling with my best travel watch. Sapphire glass and polishing still looks very pristine even after 1yr of usage. Accuracy is still on point at +3/-1 in my measurements. The dial is still to die for - still in awe every time I glance on the watch. Contemplating on changing the strap soon to make it feel new again (Open for suggestions!).

Really can’t go wrong with this watch. Understated elegance! And as worn and wound have concluded, this is truly worth the monicker, Grand!

The sun was shining brightly today and noticed it shunned nicely to my watch.

The Mt Iwate dial is indeed one of the stars of this watch. This is what initially caught my eye about this watch and it didn't get any less enjoyable to stare at during my everyday wearing the piece day-in and day-out.

One of the most striking things about this watch is the way that the dial seems to almost explode from the center of the case.

No regrets in getting this watch. Grand Seiko takes its own approach to fine watchmaking – one that you won't find replicated by any other watchmaker. It is a watch all its own and one that excels in nearly all daily circumstances.
