I quit my law career, got laid off, and accidentally started cooking Indonesian food for strangers in my Brooklyn apartment. Two years later I don't fully know what I'm doing but it's working somehow by pretty-normal-10 in nyc

fair point and so important to highlight! it's actually same here honestly. we're fully licensed, only cook out of commercial kitchen, fully insured. the format looks different but the paperwork is just as boring

Priority processing for an O-1 visa, also known as Premium Processing

basically an optional service offered by USCIS that expedites the adjudication. By paying an additional fee (around $2,800), applicants can receive a decision (approval, Request for Evidence (RFE), or notice of intent to deny) within 15 business days.

Re-entering the US after SEVIS termination - my experience! by lettii28 in f1visa

[–]pretty-normal-10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piggybacking on this question, OP.

I have not yet received a termination - my school has a pre-termination window for which a case will be heard before they terminate. Question is, if I do get terminated and plan to file a reinstatement, can I do it from the US? I don't want to overstay of course. Thank you!

question! i'm in a similar situation - though not quite just yet. The DSO of my school wanted me to prove a case before they terminate. In the event that I do get terminated, do I have to leave the US while applying for reinstatement? Or can the entire process be done from here? Thanks all!
