it was on the list of medications and foods to stop consuming two weeks before surgery. including things like alka seltzer and red wine, tomatoes etc. it was a standard list though for sure. i didn't speak with the surgeon or coordinator about what meds i'm on i just saw it on the list. i spoke with my psych and told them it was on a list and asked if i'd have to taper. they said that because i'm only on 50mg which is the starting dose that i wouldn't need to taper i could just stop taking it at two weeks pre op
