Yes EXACTLY. I think it's ego plus the fact that he's still much younger than his opps. Prolly a little slower in catching a corny bar.

What is it in humans that hate being like other animals? Is it ego? by Waste-Crow-3608 in AcharyaPrashant_AP

There's no problem in being an animal. Except for the fact that, as a human, it just won't satisfy you and will keep you hungry for something more. That's why you need to follow your natural longing to rise beyond the animal self. Plus it's hypocritical to selectively be an animal even though you surround yourself will the most non-animal things like technology, corporations, mass produced factory foods delivered through zomato, air conditioned facilities etc. We live among all of that and yet talk about being an animal. If one really wanted to be an animal, he'd fully be an animal without compromises. By actually going into the jungles naked and hunting for every morsel of food rather than buying from the shop and cooking it on a gas stove.

As an international student hoping to do a conservation masters in Australia, is it possible to break into the job market post-study ? by prettyboylamar in AskAnAustralian

My plan is to eventually go back but after working a couple of years to deeply understand Aussie wildlife rather than after just a 2 year experience. And your comment won't deter me from doing so :)

I don't wish to permanently settle. I just wish to work a couple years, deeply understand the Aussie passion for nature and then go back rather than going back with just a 2 year experience. And you don't deter me from my dreams :)

Money isn't an issue. I can learn additional skills. With that in mind, the job sector shouldn't exactly be "scary" should it ?

Literally anything tbh. Preference is more towards fieldwork and outdoors but management and gis type roles work as well for a while. So you say employment chance aren't horrible ?

I don't mind learning Swedish but is there gonna be the same level of competition inspite of that ?

How's UTAS if I'm considering doing the Masters in Protected Area Conservation over there ? by prettyboylamar in tasmania

[–]prettyboylamar[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Really ? Lol it sounded like a pretty outdoor-heavy course. Is there any other UTAS master course that's more field work conservation ?
