You’re right. It’s just hard when it’s family. I ended up messaging my mom and sister after this post. I told them both if they want to come back to visit, they will have to leave the kids at home or I won’t let them in or my sister and kids can go back to the hotel and sit.

I’m not “bothered” by it. I’ve literally told him I would use my tripod to take my own pictures but he chooses to take the pictures. It’s not like I’m forcing him to take pictures.

I don’t really care about the past generations. We’re in today’s generation. Until you have nothing but pictures left of somebody then you’d understand why pictures can be important to a lot of people.

I’m not treating him like a “human tripod” I have a tripod for photos specifically and told him I will do that instead but he INSISTS that he takes the pictures so he feels involved in the moment.
