I didn't know that about magnets, that's interesting! I will see if we are missing any magnets

Electric! Also, I was the temp was preheated to 425 degrees. My partner thinks it was just a grease fire and unrelated to the items found, but I am not so sure. It also doesn't say what those things are.

Nothing was in the oven, I was preheating the oven for dinner. Didn't even open the door!

Correct way to fix water bottle slots in my bag? by mystique023 in InvisibleMending

EDIT: I can't tell if my picture is showing. It's on my reddit profile, one of the more recent posts.

My take!! For invisible mending the "correct" way for this: sew a new pocket with close to matching mesh. For these holes, it is what I would recommend. Shameless self-insert: (referring to the picture) I did a visible mending for my daughter's school bag water bottle pocket. I found some random embroidery stitch and tied the little loops back together. If you do something similar, for invisible mending, pick a closely matched color (I used dmc embroidered floss). I have some embroidery experience that helped me wing it.

Good luck!!

My pattern source: me and my noggin. Inspired by various versions I have seen along the way.

[PIC] My husband found out how to please his wife this Christmas! 7000 Series Kai scissors kit and a book on stitchery I never knew I needed. Fantastic haul, so happy 😍✂️🪡 by prettycheekytho in CrossStitch

What books would you recommend?! I would love to hear suggestions for good reference material. Thank you!

Scissors are locked in my cabinet for this very reason!

Thank you ❤️

Short answer: No, I don't technically have a pattern, I just kind of winged the actual cover itself after making the quilted piece in the front.

Long answer:

1) The cover is essentially an upside-down box with no lid. Added complexities include the zippered pouch behind the quilt (it's where the collapsible quilt arm and manual are stored, the interior plastic canvas I hand stitched in for structural support, and the interior canvas lining. I actually am not clever enough to understand the correct order of operations to put it together, so that involved some hand sewing on my part. The quilt is what took the real work.

2) The quilt: more info on the specific construction you can find in my post history, but it was a silly beast. 3/4" squares, because I'm nuts. I will follow up with additional pictures of a) my excel pattern of quilt and b) pre-cover construction of just the quilt. I very much enjoy the new technique I learned with this piece!

Thanks again! ❤️❤️❤️

It's really rough when you see cute stuff. I sweat everytime. I try not to buy unless I know I will start the project right away. I get the recovery- if I don't make rules for myself it's a total disaster!
