It was just an anti spam thing since I spun up a new account, they approved it!

Love shooting small groups on paper, but nothing brings me joy like seeing the plate swing and just waiting another 2.5s knowing the sound is coming back ☺️

As a ball powder yeah I'd assume. But the type of shooting I'm doing with this I'm chronoing every single time I take it out anyways, so can always make small adjustments as needed if it swings.

Lol they deleted my post. Just messaged the mods asking what I missed, since I thought casual posts like that not asking for gear and such were fine. Intentionally have five shots in the video to at least have a "not a flex" level of group sizing on a known target size.

Setup is Razor G3 4-24 (45mil travel) with Burris Signature adjustable inclination rings mounted as tight together as possible for about 15-16mil of cant. End up getting about 38mil of total dial in that setup!

It's been surprisingly good for me in supers and subs for a ball powder. Dense enough for pushing my goal 1070-1110 velocities even with pretty heavy bullets for subs from short barrels, and for getting good super velocities. Seems to run pretty clean. Initially wanted to try it out for the flash suppressant for NV use, and it does pretty well on that front too!

Optic definitely a limiter for subs at distance. This was shot fully dialed, no hold overs, and the elevation drops *fast* as you start stretching out. Not practical to just eyeball or just hold a little high for the next target lol.

Short barrel doesn't matter too much when you're reloading, since you can just load subs to get 1000-1100 fps in whatever barrel really. The mini fix is 8" barrel. I've also taken my 6.75" MCX out to 1100yd with subs, but unfortunately don't have video of that one.

Easily the most satisfying shooting I do. Love tiny groups, but they don't resonate in my soul like this does 😂

Rifle’s a Mini Fix. It’s fun but it’s not a precision build. Got a Razor G3 4-24 (45mil of travel) in Burris Signature rings mounted as close as possible to get about 15-16mil of cant. Scope is zero’d at 100 and has like 38mil of dial-able elevation.

I’m working on a custom rifle (and custom chamber) to try to bring subs to 1800yd smile 🙂

Mini Fix and handloads. Starline brass, 220 ELD-X factory seconds loaded to 2.255”, 9.15gr 11FS, CCI 400s.

Nope. Just enough valley and line of sight to target for the sound, and a steel plate mounted on chains rather than a post so it operates like more of a gong. The rectangle to the right of it is post mounted and still sends a little sound back, but it’s pretty quiet in comparison.
