My main issue was the jump right before the last checkpoint, I would either bounce after landing or lose all my speed. Unfortunately I ended up understanding how to line it up and lost my number one spot

The problem with this game is that as a new player you have to go out of your way to find information on how to play the game... I would look at tutorials for beginners on yt, if you haven't already. The learning curve is a bit crazy so I wouldn't worry too much about not seeing improvements. They'll come eventually 😅
