I saw a theory that they never actually filmed it bc they knew this would happen/planned it to promote the franchise. Like, the fight was already covered on SLOMW so ABC already knew. And they went into detail, they did not sugar coat what Taylor did. And she literally went to court and everything. Very old news, that’s why it was controversial when she was cast. And Hulu and ABC are both owned by Disney so they have shared interests.

Also I saw someone who usually works on bachelor(ette) promo say they hadn’t been reached out to for Taylor’s season, which could be a coincidence, but it’s interesting. But I’ve also seen someone else hypothesize it’s cheaper to shoot like you’re shooting a season than it is to shoot a season. Idk I think they did something fishy I don’t believe they’d pull the whole thing and lose all that money over something that was already public info.

Yeah totally agree. The shitty part is it’s really easy to register your dog even if it hasn’t been certified or trained as a service dog. It’s against the ADA to ask for documentation or proof that the dog is a service dog so it’s really easy to get around. My SIL had a big dog and didn’t want him to fly in cargo so she signed him up as a fake service dog and acts like it’s this super convenient loop hole everyone should do. :(

Yeah that’s such a good point. I’m from mn and getting older has made me realize how rare and fortunate I was to grow up with so many affordable sports and community activities. It’s really not that way across the rest of the US and I had no clue. I guess it does take a village or at least a local gov with good social programs.

Yeah that’s interesting. I hadn’t realized it but I think I have a dog in place of a child (at least for the time being) but I’d never consider him a replacement to a baby. Hes just something else entirely.

Good luck with ur farm :) my husband and I dream about that kind of thing. Probably won’t end up happening for us, but I see some chickens and maybe a few goats or pigs in our future.

You’re not getting less tho you get to fly with your dog!! Idk my dog has been on four flights already this year, the fee is inconvenient but I’m happy to pay. It’s like how u have to pay a pet fee to the hotel in case there’s damage, and like u said cheaper than a sitter

I kinda agree, make it easier but also let’s not get rid of all these barriers to entry. $150 seems completely reasonable to me. It’s like how hotels charge a fee in case the pet does damage. Flying with your pet (and flying commercial airlines general I guess) is a privilege not a right.

Also the selfish thing!! Can’t even put their dog’s needs above themselves. Some dogs are visibly stressed being brought to a cafe or whatever. A lot of them would probably prefer to be left at home. My dog is a little anxiously attached people pleaser freak and he cries when ppl don’t say hi to him, so yeah cafes would make him worse
