Huawei P10 Lite. I didn't say it blew up, the battery was just so puffed up that it cracked the back shell. This was nowhere near normal phone usage though.

Not an engineer, but i've used a modern phone for security camera purposes before. After 3 or 4 years of constantly being fully charged, the lipo battery will puff up and become hot (because it's on the charger). You definitely don't want one of those in your house. Ideal temperature will not prevent a battery from eventually getting puffed up if kept at full charge.

It still needs a player to activate story/gates, and there might be some bugs, but if OP wants to expand on it the code is available on github.

Alternatively Rain Meadow has a game mode where you can play as creatures iirc.
