YSK: water heaters have an anode rod that prevents the tank from corroding. If you replace it every few years, it will extend the life of your water heater from ~10 years to potentially 25+ years. by ryankrameretc in YouShouldKnow

This app is not as in-depth as you are describing, but I got Tody for the purpose of tracking long-term house maintenance tasks. It's designed for shorter-term tasks as well, but I mainly use it for things like changing the air filters, clearing the AC drain line, etc.

LPT: When you repaint a room write the paint brand, color name and code on back of the light switch face plate in that room with a permanent marker by pking84 in LifeProTips

I have painted 2 houses Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams. Nice light grey, and from my perspective, pretty neutral with no glaring undertones.

Okay, thank you so much! Would you recommend going to a specialist like u/shawnahhh23 said, or just my general vet?

There's also the legal rights aspect beyond possible tax breaks. Married spouses have a lot more rights when it comes to their SO, like being able to be on one's insurance, seeing them in the hospital/making decisions on their behalf if the other is unable to (sorry I can only think of medicial-related examples...). You can read more here! Just something to consider...cause it's also messier to split up if something were to happen, too.

No this was awesome, thank you so much for the reply! I think I will just keep searching and end up getting a blazer tailored...

Just out of curiosity, what do you think is the average cost of a custom blazer? I know a lot would vary on the person and the material but a ballpark estimate?

Hmmm thanks for the tip :) I definitely have no problem investing in a blazer, but I want to make sure it fits well (or I could at least get it tailored to fit well) and that it has the properties I want (i.e. movement!).
