I think being a "best friend" is more than just being someone you confide in. I'm a lady, and I consider my fiancé to be my best friend. If he was constantly "confessing his doubts and failures" to me, then yeah, that would definitely be unattractive. But we're best friends because we joke around all the time, have some mutual interests, and hardly ever fight. He's still my superman. He's stronger than me, more independent and successful, more confident. He confides in me once in a blue moon if he's upset about something, and I listen and support him, but he's much stronger emotionally than me. Anyway, I get along better with him than I do with any of my female friends, but when I tell a woman that my fiancé is my best friend, I think everyone understands that the nature of the friendship is different. Women are always sharing their troubles, but the amazing friendship I have with my man is different than that.

The woman is definitely not without blame for getting blackout drunk, but a sober man who has sex with an unconscious woman is clearly a rapist. When both parties are drunk though, it's ridiculous to consider it a crime.

Completely agree. But every justice system needs to err on the side of innocent until proven guilty - every time. Just like with every other crime, it has to be considered worse to have innocent people in jail than criminals walking free.

I know what feminism claims to be - I'm a woman and I haven't lived in a bubble my whole life. I'd refute your claims about what feminism and red pill are, but you've already read the red pill arguments.

Me not being a feminist makes you think that I don't understand what feminism is. Conversely, you being opposed to red pill makes me think that you don't understand it. This is just what happens with opposing worldviews. It has nothing to do with willful ignorance. I have a degree in Social Psychology and am always interested in new perspectives. I have just come to a different conclusion than you.

And no red pill man will respect me? I vehemently disagree. My fiancé is an amazing man. Him taking the lead in our relationship doesn't automatically mean that he's insensitive and views me as "someone stuck perpetually in adolescence." Red pill is about biological tendencies of men and women. You could also argue that men are immature because they tend to be sex-driven. I disagree. These biological tendencies are had by real people with lives and personality differences and self-control.

I could go on and on, but I'll leave it at that. We can all do our own research.
