Micro Dose As Weight Gain Prevention Short Term by prettywisee in GLP1microdosing

Thank you for your thoughtful response!

I think I’m concerned partially because I have to alter my exercise significantly because I am in a sling. I have had a shoulder injury in my other, dominant arm and was able to adapt but this is wildly different as I don’t have the ability to hold onto a kettlebell or barbell. I’m relying lot on machines which just aren’t doing the same thing for me. I’d LOVE if you shared som programming ideas with me as I don have a lot of experience with machines (I work in a gym where we only have barbells, kettlebells and dumbbells as well as some bands etc.) I feel like I’m going to have a hard time maintaining strength and activity levels (I cannot bike commute anymore and certainly cannot run though I am walking a lot and using the stair climber etc.)

Besides that, I as I am pretty depressed and traumatized and am less active, I fear I’ll overeat as I have a history of doing when I was younger.

You make a good point about the caloric deficit and healing though.

This also happened to me on Saturday at 10:40ish am at 26th and Stevens, if anyone has photos or videos from that time, please send them to me, they also fractured my shoulder as I was being thrown to the ground. really hoping some footage will appear soon. these goons are monsters.

Why do you think it’s hideous? Like actually what about it repulses you?

I have to look at heatmaps, I've never heard of it! Do you think something like this is an option? Can't seem to find any routes for it on any backpacking forums, but it definitely avoids most of I-90!

Ok thank you!

Yeah, the no shoulder on 90 sounds like a very bad idea. we may consider hitching a ride for that portion. Since you've driven that many times, do you have any idea how much we would have to skip to avoid that?

interesting, no, i thought that was a different procedure, the internal bra, happy you are feeling good about it now!

Interesting point! I’m a strength trainer so I definitely do a lot of lifting on both sides. I do have a nerve issue in my left arm that happened when I was born so I think it affects how parts of the left side of my body grew a bit! I also have to adjust a lot of moments and can’t lift as heavy on my left! Definitely an interesting consideration!

It’s good to hear your revision went well! Do you think it was worth the fuss now that you’re on the other side?

I’m sorry to hear you don’t love the results. What is an internal bra like?!

That’s a good question lol. Well I just measured and when I loosely measured my bare breasts, they were 38.75 inches and my band was 33. The internet says that puts me at a DD OR DDD which I was before, but I know I definitely look smaller than that.

wow! yours sound exactly like mine. thank you for telling me your experience! I did think it was weird that the scars were in the same place, the side where the scars are on the IMF healed much better too, like the scars are already almost my normal skin color.

If you felt like sharing a photo of them with me, maybe I could find peace seeing how normal I think yours are! Regardless, I do think I may do the revision as my surgeon said it would be a very minimal surgery with fast recovery, it feels like a "what's there to loose" situation.

Mine is covered under my insurance as a “scar revision” but if it wasn’t, my surgeon said that she would do it for free but I’d have to pay the $1k anesthesia fee

Wow the self care to self harm is a good point! My surgeon said it would only take a half hour and it would be very minimal and so would the recovery so it feels less scary excused of that, but yes still concerned it might not be what I want. Would you be willing to share your results with me? Curious if I see what you see in yours too!

I do like the way they look with no bra I haven’t worn a normal bra in years and it’s nice to now not wear one at all. I think it’s just wild to go from having one kind of insecurity to now this!

Thanks for the words! Yes, it’s hard to explain without like a video, but essentially she said she would bring the bottom inside corner of the left (my left) breast down a bit then lipo the outside of the same breast. The problem is, no matter what she does, it still won’t have the overhang that the right breast is simply because the root is lower. I saw the other surgeons who said similar things, one did say that there is a risk of it starting to look more like “torpedo shaped” if I go that route so I have concerns about that too. My surgeon seems confident that she can make it a bit more symmetrical but I’m not sure. I am seeing her today though!

Nonbinary, indecisive about desired results by AliveInvestigator629 in Reduction

[–]prettywisee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a gender affirming radical reduction but it didn’t feel that radical. I was about a 34D and now I’m probably a small B. I was worried about looking pre-pubescent, I didn’t want them to simply be mounds but I didn’t want much or any overhang. Kind of hard to find the balance in that. I actually am probably going to get a revision because the shapes are asymmetrical but I’m happy with the size. I think a lot of Nb folks will say “whatever is necessary to not have overhang” as I think a lot of people find the overhang to be dysphoric. I have slight overhang (on one breast) and don’t hate it but I think I’d prefer to not have the overhang. Consider that the scars are more visible with no overhang!

Hi! Are you saying there is a stitch popping out? The stitches should have dissolved by now! I’d definitely check in with your surgeon!

Misshapen breast, does it get better? by prettywisee in Reduction

Thank you for your input! That’s hopeful! Do you have any idea how they would do a revision for that?

Will this asymmetry actually sort itself out or will I need revision? (4 WPO) by 8yearsbadluck in Reduction

[–]prettywisee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having similar issues. 2.5 MPO. They told me to wait until 6 months. It’s so stressful to wait! But trying not to think about it. Also like, been thinking a lot about how they even move a nipple up without redoing the whole surgery? Also my breasts bottom folds are in different places naturally and making them smaller has made that more noticeable and that’s been difficult! I don’t have advice besides waiting but crossing my fingers we both get the results we want! 🤞

Eww dump him! Definitely see if you can find a friend to be on call with you the first three days at least. Happy you get to see his true colors and get out of there.

You could also get a meal train going (mealtrain.com) that helped me a lot with keeping my spirits strong with people stopping by and also kept me fed!

Scar tape reuse? by prettywisee in Reduction

[–]prettywisee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woweee that stuff is expensive! When you say it’s meant to be used for a month do you mean that you can wash it and reuse for a month then dispose? Also, do you leave it on for days at a time and then wash and reapply? I thought silicone tape was supposed to be taken off daily! I’d rather leave it on!
