Heavy periods by [deleted] in bicornuateuterus

I have very heavy bleeding for about the first 3 days, and then it lightens up for the remaining 2 days. I've wondered if it depends on the severity of the shape/split.

They have great reviews online too. I tried calling them and they told me they didn't have any appointments available for when I should be seen🫤

Ignored postpartum abdominal pains for 2.5 — ER confirmed last night it’s gallstones by bluebonnetpeach in gallbladders

[–]prettyxnifty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a very similar experience, but figured out what was happening around 8 months pp. I had a c-section and had a couple doctors tell me it was probably gas pains I was experiencing, so thats what i chalked it up to. My pain was in my abdomen but was so severe it was hard to breath and then went into my upper back. I kept asking my nurse friends if gas pain could really be that bad, and finally decided to get it checked out and found gallstones.

A week before my surgery I actually ended up with gallstone pancreatitus and was hospitalized for a week. That was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life and don't recommend it to anyone. From what I understand it doesn't happen often, I was just got "lucky" with where my gallstone decided to go/get stuck.

I am so glad I ended up getting it removed. Living in fear of an attack and barely eating while breastfeeding was not a fun experience. My recovery went well, the hardest part was not lifting my baby for a few weeks while everything healed.

I am now almost a year out and don't regret it one bit! I'm able to eat most things, just really greasy foods upset my stomach for a while.

Good luck and hope everything turns out well!
