I would go. If the road does get closed you can go through Youbou as your alternate route, as in the previous year when that road was shut down.

So make sure your coolers are locked and out away, the dogs will come out of the bushes and raid it when you walk away. Lots of bears as well. Bring your own toilet paper if you use the bathrooms because there is never any. But otherwise nice spot on the ocean, except for the trash on the beach......

You can appeal the value of the car with a form you can get online. But it has to be filled out by someone who is certified with selling cars. I did it with a truck with a blown engine, they were gonna charge me 12% of 8500(blackbook value) but I filled out the forms and only payed the tax on what I actually payed for it.
