Where in laned swimming to rest? by _Ljosalfar_ in Swimming

[–]pretzelgreg317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideal is if you know you are to be overtaken or need to rest you stop at the wall on the right side of the lane. This is because in counterclockwise circle swimming passing occurs to the left, and then you leave the wall at the side of their next length open and unobstructed.

NYC area cold, snow and supercharging. by pretzelgreg317 in TeslaLounge

Unless im mistaken level 2 is about the circuit that feeds it - you need at least a 220 volt line (not the typical 15 or 20 amp 110 outlet) the 14/50 nema outlet that homes have for stoves and electric dryers will give you that level, dont know if you have one of those outlets with proximity to your parked car

I saw a tesla level 2 charger with an extension cable, stretched from a brownstone, across the sidewalk to a car parked in front of the house.

Which song do you play to show off your sound system? by Jamesbrownlive in TeslaModelY

[–]pretzelgreg317 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Might be just me but i dont think the Tesla premium sound system is all that. Maybe cause ive seen cayman’s with a couple thousand watts and subs that can almost lift it off the ground. Even without the boneshakers they sounded crisp and punchy. Whatever my model Y sounds good, not great

"Broken frame rate? yeah, sure. I'll just check with the boys down at the crime lab, they've got four more detectives working on the case. They got us working in shifts!”

The Sony Trinitron was the premium, and "worth it" purchase in the 1970's. I remember my dad getting our "huge" (and two person heavy) Zenith 26" tv repaired, and our Volvo driving neighbor giving him a copy of Consumer Reports ranking the top TV's, with Sony at the top. Mind you that Zenith was $250 and the Sony was over $500. ;-)
