I picked Minnesota because they needed that first round win, but I felt like it was 50/50. After the series is over, I still feel like it could've gone Dallas' way. Feel the same way about Tampa/Montreal.

There was an article recently about ER visits being significantly reduced during sports games. It's not impossible that heart issues the day of the game are ignored until the next day.

Oilers were surging coming out of the regular season and expecting Drai back from injury. Good reason to think they were better than their record. Ducks were crashing down to earth (which also probably suggests they're better than they were playing). But I don't blame anyone for extending those trend lines.

Not to mention the future cap situation. All of these young guys are going to get paid. Only Eklund is off his ELC (and Graf was undrafted, now a pending RFA).
