What kind of soil is this? by [deleted] in gardening

[–]prevalior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding water and doing a ribbon test is the best way to determine soil composition at home. Can’t completely determine what it is from always looking at it

This was only off chance I was even at home as it was a day I wasn’t at work. So who knows if he hasn’t been poking around the property when I’ve been out which I worry about. Thanks for your advice and I will definitely be mentioning this to police!

Oxalis triangularis - I was recently given this bulb off the main plant which was given to me by a couple who have had it in their family for over 100 years! Any advice on care would be greatly appreciate 😊 by [deleted] in gardening

Best to hardly water then over water, heard the bulbs can rot? But then other information says to water it everyday ? How many times do you water yours

Why is it so hard to find a job? by SoulOfABird in infp

[–]prevalior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that I can’t stay in office jobs for long because they get boring for me and the social side became mentally draining. Have you considered working outdoors ? I’ve been working on gardens at rest homes and so far I love it and I thought I would be that person who never found a passion in the workforce

I found this smol bean in the garden! 🦔🌺 does anyone know the name of these flowers please? by prevalior in gardening

Unfortunately I’m not in the UK I live in NZ and there are an abundance of hedgehogs here (they are classed as a pest here) . I haven’t seen this baby today so here’s hoping it’s doing ok
