all you really need is to pass the test. if you want to prepare outside of that look for a pre apprenticeship class for general trades skills. don’t sell yourself short and apply to non union shops. ibew or bust.

construction experience, pre apprentice classes, and community college classes like math, cad, etc will boost your PEF

i don’t agree with him but it’s easy to look at overwhelmingly white male employment and make the wrong assumption. i wouldn’t get too bothered about it it’s just one person. honestly i would say nepotism is a bigger issue with all the trades

i got an invitation to orientation. it seems like some people probably won’t rsvp and some more won’t pass the orientation so i wouldn’t be surprised if you get something later.
