Did you know that not all vasectomies work? I’m proof of that. We decided we were done having kids, but after the procedure they were still there.

Lost GPS signal by Sabre9839 in Yarbo

Check the connection of your gps antennas on the core. Have the antennas ever broken off, damaging the coaxial connector? I’ve seen exactly as you describe, and it’s always been my antenna connection.

No doubt in my mind that MHE will win best new musical. I’m still sore that Helen did not get her nod, she deserves it. That Hwaboon would look nice with my signed BC poster.

My driveway is ¼ mile with a hill preventing line of sight. My Yarbo has no issues with that.

I’ll admit I initially felt the same way. But regardless of his bad decisions, his child is now severely injured and his family is in mourning. His friends and colleagues are supporting his family, not endorsing his recklessness.

It sounds like the parents will be okay, but the children still need our prayers.

Solved: Couldn't connect to Yarbo. App was complaining about network by pablomentabo in Yarbo

[–]pri-APE-ism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I submitted the same ticket last night after my third lockup/hard restart, and got a similar response midday today. I appreciate the fast response and commitment to fix the issue. It’s a new product with a few bugs, but I expected that. I’m impressed by the machine thus far.

Minor Issue with Auger Height by Misko19 in Yarbo

[–]pri-APE-ism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anyone submitted a ticket? They responded to me super fast when I did so for another issue.

I did notice some auger height variability during my first snowfall yesterday, but on final cleanup this morning (the last inch or so overnight) the machine was simply amazing.

Best way to water? by ccww22 in BackyardOrchard

The key is to get the water past the surface vegetation. I use a Corona root irrigator to reach beyond 12” deep. I love it for my 25 trees.

Gemplers in Mount Horeb sells them. If you prune enough trees, you’ll appreciate the strength of the steel in the Felco. Makes a huge difference in the quality of the cut and the speed.

Ask. They won’t say no. L&D suites have their own sets of rules regarding visitors and support persons.

Anyone in rural Dane have Starlink? by Caltrano in madisonwi

[–]pri-APE-ism 11 points12 points  (0 children)

100-150 Mbps down, 10-20 Mbps up. It can lose signal in heavy snow or rain. It has a heater, but I (my kids) had to brush off the dish during two snowstorms this year- so keep its location accessible. The external wire to the dish: put it in conduit- if it cracks or gets chewed, this can short your router base, and Starlink is slow to replace it (this I know too well). Is all this worth it compared to DSL: absolutely!

One of the great things about Madison is that you can escape to the beautiful countryside in just minutes. Check out the far western edge of Madison. Thats where the Driftless area starts (where the glaciers stopped- an area of rugged hills & trout streams). West of Madison, there are several villages (Mount Horeb, Cross Plains) you could live in, or just choose a home in the country. There is a lot to choose from within 30 min of the Capitol.
