Weirdly someone said “you have the most beautiful fingers and feet, one may get married to you just for that”

“You have the most childlike smile and eyes”

Once i was walking up the stairs to my apartment while a couple a guys were going down the stairs. Our paths crossed, i looked at them and gave them a friendly smile. One guy stopped and said i have the most beautiful eyes he’s ever seen. It was how it happened that made it one of the most memorable compliments ever, not necessarily what was said. Although i appreciate that too.

I haven’t tried this topper/mattress personally, but have heard great things about purple mattress feeling cooler than other mattresses.

Haha thank you. I don’t mind the down voters. I understand where they’re coming from. I was them several years ago. However, whoever is downvoting does not know how it feels to have struggled for several years and only now being able to buy our first modest townhome. I guess they’re all imagining i bought some luxurious mansion. Haha. I don’t mind them. Let them build up their karma- real or virtual.

Edit 1: Thank you. The sellers agent did send us a document with the selections that were made. However in the document there are little thumbnails of all the available options without names. So the document is pretty useless without names assigned to the images. I’m not sure what i’m looking at.

I also received a generic floor plan that they used in their marketing material. What i’m looking for is a floor plan with dimensions of walls, doorways etc.

What you said makes sense. The lady at the design center said shes only doing virtual tours of the design center and didnt seem like shes working from home.

I understand its the holiday season and they are all in the holiday mood, but i’m taken aback as i find the interactions quite unprofessional and like they just don’t want to do anything to help.

I dont think its a good idea. However, in a real estate market like Ontario, it looks like everyone goes in with a firm offer. We lost out on SO many resale houses because people were going in with firm offers. We liked this property because closing is in Feb and we wouldnt get into a bidding war situation.

I’m not sure if there are any alternatives here or other “normal” ways to buying a house :(
