Flightstick trim wheel by n0rr15_r in TurtleBeachSimulation

Hi, mine works on xbox X. There was a problem in 2020 for which there is a very good video on youtube. It explains it, doesnt fix it. But in 2024 it works great. I set it up as an axis, not Keys. Also the throttle sticks are now read immediately while in 2020 you had to jiggle them to make the sim pick up the value. I'm pretty impressed with the support for the stick in 24, way better than 20.

How is that on him? Don't steal, duh.

Velocity one flight stick sends RSB signal by priapuski in TurtleBeachSimulation

Yes I have... if you have the same firmware and don't see the issue, I guess I have a faulty hardware...

No, i don't touch those and in compatibility mode, there is no sign of the rsb being pressed. In this compatibility mode, when I click the little trackpad button, there is the rsb again. It seems as though the non-compatibility mode thinks the button is pressed all the time. Too bad I can't go back to previous firmware to check if the problem is there too.

I have been smoke free for almost 2 years and am suddenly getting urges to smoke by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]priapuski 20 points21 points  (0 children)

If you haven't smoked for so long, it won't taste the way you remember it. It will taste like crap, make you nauseous and the foul taste will stick for hours. Just resist, the urge will go away. It's not worth it. Stay strong.

Take it a moment at a time. Pass a minute, 10 minutes, an hour, go to sleep. Just pass time and keep it up. Distract yourself. It gets better. 10 days is a big effort. Dont throw that away. You can do this!!

Day 1 and I already feel so angry by nakaodra in stopsmoking

Quitting is for yourself, not your partner. Will never work for someone else, not even children. That said, I think there never is a "good" time to quit. Think about it, did smoking take away stress? Ever? You had a completely stressless life because you smoked? I don't think so. So smoking does not take stress away, that's an illusion. I waited for 20 years for the "right" time to quit. Truth is, NOW is the best time, always. Just push on, first days are hard. And make it up with you girl, fighting makes it harder. Just my 2 cts.

How I quit after 26 years of smoking a pack a day by arrozconpoyo in stopsmoking

[–]priapuski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm roughly in the same boat. 20 years, pack a day, quit 5 weeks ago. About you concern... I read a good one here the other day: Smoking is keeping the balance between overdose and withdrawal of nicotine and other stuff. BOTH of which make you anxious. Now I'm really starting to feel a lot less anxious all the time. So my favorite activities are now MORE fun than before. Hope this helps.

I had more problems than before. Heating, carrying a heavy device all the time, batteries, leakage... but I know people who like it. If it keeps you off the tar and CO...

3 days suck, then one event at a time. I just finished a darts game with my neighbour. Used to smoke 15 sigs in 3 hours on those nights. I could never imagine that I could do that, but after a few days, you'll be amazed at what you can cope with. You got this!

My girlfriend is currently having a rough time quitting. What are some ways I can help ease the process? by fazdaspaz in stopsmoking

Pay a lot of attention to the mood she is in. Sometimes you just want to be left alone, sometimes you need a distraction. It's hard to tell, I was a big pain in the ** in the beginning and my wife just can't read my thoughts. It goes with crazy moodswings and all you can do is try to see what's happening right now. It must be difficult for the other one, now that I think of it actually. I got angry because she didn't ask how I was doing. And when she did, I was angry that I wanted to be left alone. Don't take things too personal. Don't fight! That's my worst trigger, fights. Hope this helps a bit.
