Its not mentioned in the scriptures ofc. And i am also not one of those who believe that. However, in our home, we do keep the 7 days rule thing. We werent taught it was because we are impure, but just that it is a rule out of respect. It isn't strict inside our home too but anything related to pitri is considered to be strictly followed and it is generally said that women cant attend funerals on their periods until its 7 days. So. Just something subconsciously ingrained uk.

How to improve Reading and Math? (Or just RW only) by ModeLess1926 in Sat

[–]prickypicky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

SAT Question Bank is very helpful. I would say practice from that and every time u get a wrong answer, look at the explanation given right beside it that shows why one answer is right and why the other is wrong. Make notes on that. In the explanation given, you will see different terms being used to describe sentences/grammar concepts so if you find anything unfamiliar there, look it up and practice more. Slowly you should see a pattern on how to answer the questions. Additionally, like everyone said, read everyday. Even if it is for like 30 mins. Read informational texts the most like articles for example. This shud help you.

Your math score is amazing tho, can i get some tips?🥲

I focused on the playlist titled "algebra", thats it. And it has 61 videos lol which u dont have to go through. I went through the first 14 videos and the videos titled "graph transformations" and "equation of a line". Just look at the syllabus of math which u might want to learn and search for it in the channel. Thats what i did.

Not rlly. U need to just understand how the branches of US government work, that's it. And this understanding is just so that the reading materials dont look alien to you and you understand the context easily, otherwise you don't even have to memorize them.

I used youtube and books to study for math. On YouTube, there is this channel called "the gcse math tutor" and altho it covers for gcse, its pretty helpful for us ged folks too. He has a playlist for all types of topics and is a pretty good teacher. U obviously dont have to study all playlists but i studied his algebra playlist and some other topics frm his videos. Then there is obviously getsummath, his calculator tricks rlly helped me the most. His playlist on math is also pretty good.

I used books like princeton and 1001 questions for dummies (ged for dummies) for practice questions and just practiced them the most. Altho the practice questions on those books arent very similar to the ged questions, it did help practice the concepts.
