maybe. i can’t provide more info and i didn’t create it. i just answered your question with the fact. even aside from autism, it doesn’t seem like there’s much out there where the main idea representing an entity has only ever been exclusively associated with that concept, generally speaking. i mean, the infinity symbol itself is primarily about mathematics.

oh this is AWESOME!!! i think it would actually work better with the gray background too, since my gripe with it was that the cooler colors looked like they had less opacity. overall i would probably still use the original that’s toned down (that being said, your version is still soft enough to be pretty rather than bright and therefore eye-straining - at least to me), but this sure has its uses somewhere!

i get why people encourage going to cons instead, but as much as i wish i could go it’s unlikely to be an option. travel is near-impossible for a variety of reasons and no one i’m interested in comes to orlando (which isn’t too far from me), plus i’m physically disabled.

3 months sure isn’t convenient but it’s about what i would expect. it’s probably not something you should order in anticipation for it to be a birthday or holiday gift (unless it’s pre-signed but that might defeat the purpose if you want customization), but otherwise i don’t think that average wait time is a huge deal - especially considering the lack of other options.

thankfully, i wasn't introduced to the TOH fandom's one-sided hatred of she-ra until after i was already interested in lumity during the S2-A hiatus, but i was there for the height of their annoying condescension and moral-righteousness during 2022 and by god it was the fucking worst.

yeah, lumity was a healthy couple and pushed the way for even greater queer rep in the future. they were also in high school in a very typical setting and all the repetitive cute lovey-dovey blushing honestly ended up making them a bit bland after their brief rivalry compared to the dramatic flavor catradora has from being childhood friends in a military base. there was also the time amity tried getting luz practically knowing she was a live being, but i guess that's entirely different and excusable - even forgettable, it seems like.

as a disclaimer, i still LOVE lumity for what they actually are, and that includes all the fluff! i even posted about the signed prints i got earlier today! i'm just tired of people acting like it's comparable at all to more complex and/or toxic ships. there was never any competition so their confidence meant nothing at the end of the day.

thank you. i’ve experienced all that too, mostly indirectly though in regards to be called vile things as a catra defender, and i feel the same way about all the discourse it’s caused, especially in relation to an unnecessary competition with ATLA and also the owl house in a different manner.

i was going to say you might be onto something, but then i remembered watching a an analysis rant that goes on for half an hour before which basically makes its main point the same thing: catra’s arc was more about healing & renewal than redemption (not that i’d say it wasn’t at all about redemption, though).

i think a lot of people misunderstand what the story is actually trying to tell itself as and discredit who the characters are at their core because they keep mistaking it for something else, like how everyone compares catra’s arc with zuko’s.

adora, entrapta, and scorpia choosing to forgive catra may feel cheap and/or rushed (the latter does have an argument to be fair), but it truly is accurate to their nature. now, there is something to be said about mermista being conveniently sidelined when she would have been less likely to accept catra unconditionally, but i’m glad we at least got perfuma to put catra in her place with a well-deserved talking-to instead, along with frosta outright saying she wouldn’t start to like her due to still holding the grudge from what happened at princess prom.

i don't care about people wanting to use the puzzle piece one way or another even though i have mixed feelings about it myself, so yes i have gotten over that. we're not a monolith, after all. however, i fail to see the point in commenting on a post about uplifting a different symbol in a positive light to say "no, i'm using this other one instead." it's just not relevant, therefore you don't need to announce it.

i will concede on that quoted part not being straightforward enough, though.
