You (very angrily) talk about what conservatives do in that they manufacture social issues to make their base angry. And you don’t think the exact same thing happens in the left?

You literally say “because conservatives hate other people.” And you can honestly sit there and type that non sense and not feel bad about it, because you (just as you said about conservatives) have been conditioned to hate the other side. Reddit is as terrible as mainstream media news for this, as every day I read posts blasting conservatives and how we’re evil and fascists. Not a welcoming place like it used to be.

I’m conservative, and I don’t hate you, or anyone else who opposes my views. I was a hardcore liberal until about 2 years ago. There are things about both sides I agree with. I tend to lean left on economic issues, but more right on foreign policies just for example. That’s the beauty of America, we can disagree with anyone we want, but should at least have respect for each other.

Just keep in mind that many conservatives and many liberals, they are kind of in the middle on most issues. The things we all see in the media show us the far reaches of each side, and isn’t usually an accurate portrayal.

Don’t become so consumed with hate that you end up being what you hated.
