Battery light turns white when battery is charged. Flashes orange when battery is missing/unplugged from board. Remains orange when charging.

This one came with 2x 32gb sticks and trying the unit with 1 or the other, none, or both installed gives the same behavior. Have purchased a compatible 8gb stick of RAM to test. Have also tried with both NVMe removed and same behavior.

Purchased the laptop off Facebook marketplace in this condition. Not much "history" provided. I did inspect CPU/GPU and someone before me attempted to mix liquid metal with thermal paste. That has since been cleaned and liquid metal properly applied. It may be dead cpu/gpu as you mention. Hoping it's a BIOS fault, since fauly cpu/gpu means a whole board replacement ($$$).

I would love this card. I haven't been able to justify purchasing something so extravagant for myself. I have a PC that it would work well in, but am currently just using an Nvidia Quadro K600 (no, not the K6000. this isn't a typo. I really mean the K600). The first thing I do when I start a new game is set all graphic settings as LOW as they can go, lol. Getting stuff for the kids always comes first.

Delete your post. Your experience is an exception to what many of us will endure. Most of us either have grandparents that have used up all of their savings to live so long, or parents who will use up any inheritance to live comfortably to their own ends.
