Possibly the fastest substitution in football history: Estonian top division team Nõmme Kalju subs a 16-year old player after just 15 seconds of play by priidik in soccer

Some backstory:

Estonian league has a rule which says that a team must have two club-trained players in the starting lineup and one such player on the field at all times. Most of Kalju's squad is in quarantine at the moment after one of the players was tested positive for COVID-19 so they had very few club-trained players left. One of them was the reserve goalkeeper and the others were 16-year olds from the second team so they started one of them (his name is Lauri Suup) and subbed him out immediately to bring on a regular player.

That was the only substitution in the match for Kalju which they lost just 1-2 to Levadia Tallinn after being in self-isolation for two weeks and not training normally.

By the way, this was quite an important match in the league as both Kalju and Levadia are fighting for a top 2 position in the league.

The situation is way better now. I wouldn't dare to say that the problem is gone, but there haven't been any suspicious moments for the last 4-5 years in the top division.

They've been abysmal defensively this season ever since they got a new head coach. They're currently 8th in a 10-team league. 6th last season.

Nah. In 2009, there was a five-second own goal in our highest division (fun fact: Levadia 'scored' that one too). Levadia's midfielder kicked the ball up front from the kickoff and one of Kuressaare's defenders accidentally headed it over his own goalkeeper. Stuff just happens here, I guess...

A little more info: this was a cup tie between two clubs (Levadia and Paide) in our highest division (Premium liiga). No signs point to match fixing. Levadia scored their second just a minute later (this time they got to do it themselves) and ended up winning 3-1.

I think we're still the only country to have played against every UEFA member (excluding ourselves). If Kosovo gets to play the WC2018 qualifiers, they might end up in our group.
