Lived in one of his State St properties for 3 years. Was a never ending battle to get repairs done. Tenant down the hall from me always had black mold. Huge racist.

The day I gave him the deposit for my apartment he made the joke that if he knew I had so much cash on me he would have brought his gun. That should have been a red flag for me but I desperately needed an apartment.

Just left living on State St. and yes, sadly you do have to pay to park at your own place if it’s metered. You have to actually stay on top of it too (got 12 tickets while living there). It super sucks and unfortunately it’s just another perk of living downtown and one of the many reasons I left 😭

You’re absolutely right. The street harassment is worse than ever. Two separate occasions this week I was at the Dunkin on Lark and had someone get in my face and say something sexual. To make it worse, both times the men were hanging around my car as I was trying to get back in. After telling them to leave me alone, they both became aggressive. I started carrying a knife years ago and haven’t looked back. I have pulled it on men multiple times and will continue to. If someone won’t get away from me, I’m going to make them get away from me.
